My name is Lori and I started Sierra Getaways (formerly known as Tahoe Five Star Hosting) because I fell in love with hosting guests and helping them make the best memories. I will be your host during your stay at all the amazing Sierra Getaways vacation rentals that I'm lucky enough to manage in the North Lake Tahoe area. Ensuring you have the very best and most memorable experience in Tahoe, whether it’s 2 days or 2 weeks, is my top priority.

Incredibly comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchens, fluffy towels, free toiletries, good coffee, games, extra bedding, plenty of essentials like paper towels, detergent, etc. and lots of other stuff that will delight you. You will only want to stay at my places:-)
Clean and Cozy
I’m a clean freak. My kids can’t stand it but my guests LOVE it! I have the highest standards for my cleaners who clean our rental properties. And we use the highest quality cleaning supplies. You will find your property to be sparkling clean when you arrive. And, there will be clean throw blankets!

I am on-call for you 24/7 from the second you book the reservation. I’m totally available anytime before, during, and after your stay. I answer all questions immediately and provide a ton of personalized recommendations based on your needs.
Why I'm doing this
It was my calling. It’s funny looking back at my life now after spending the last 20 years in the corporate world. I should have realized that helping people have a great time and creating lifelong memories is something I’ve been doing my whole life. I feel lucky that I can make a living now doing it. I'm having the time of my life. P.S. That is not me on the paddle board. Just wishful thinking:-)
