We had a wonderful weekend watching it snow and enjoying the slopes at Northstar! Lori was an incredibly accommodating host, including making it really simple to book an extra night at the last minute due to a big storm in the area. We were cozy and comfortable, and the house had everything we needed! Great stay at Northstar which was perfect for our family ski vacation. The shuttle network made it easy to hit the slopes each day with the kids and split the group sometimes without worrying about driving. Lori was an excellent host and always very communicative! 10/10 C

Very Disappointing Stay – Unsafe Conditions and Broken PromisesI booked this cabin to celebrate my birthday, but the experience was ruined by poor communication and unkept promises. When we arrived, the cabin had no electricity, and the power wasn’t restored for over 24 hours. The owner was slow to respond and unprepared—there was no proper emergency lighting or even a first aid kit.Due to the darkness, a friend fell on the stairs and injured her ankle, leaving her unable to enjoy the rest of the trip. The owner promised a refund for one night, but after we left, she stopped responding and never sent it. I also contacted VRBO customer service for help, but as of today, they still haven’t resolved the issue.This was not just unprofessional—it was dishonest. I strongly do not recommend this property or this owner. Rent at your own risk.
