Positive: Very nice condo! It was very peaceful at night, and the beds were comfortable. All 5 of us enjoyed our stay. Lori was great about communicating with my daughter and myself when we were checking in. All of our questions were quickly answered. Totally recommend this rental.
Negative: There weren't any washcloths. Not sure if they were just forgotten, or if that's what they do.

What a lovely, well-appointed mountain getaway with a high-touch host.  The location is idyllic and centrally located - close to the lake, trails, slopes, restaurants, and all that make Tahoe a favorite in any season. Place was beautiful and felt like home. North Lake Tahoe was very peaceful. We went to South Lake Tahoe for a day and it was congested and touristy. The north suited our family well. Every restaurant we ate at was great, and wait staff were so nice. The information that Lori gave about the house and activities in the area were spot-on, leaving no need for questions. Thanks for letting us stay at such a wonderful place!

We LOVED our stay at this Airbnb. By far my favorite place I’ve stayed at in Truckee. We were pleasantly surprised upon check in. We are clean freaks and most places we stay aren’t up to our standards of cleanliness. This place is immaculate! Spotless and tidy, not to mention totally uncluttered! I never felt uncomfortable walking around barefoot or like I should’ve brought my own bedding. We only utilized the top floor really since it was just me and my husband but wow that living room and bedroom were some comfy and cozy. The location is beyond excellent. A minute drive from downtown Truckee or a short walk away. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the dishes and cutlery you need. As well as a keurig and coffee pot. We also loved hanging out on the balconies with our dogs. We will 100% be staying here again. 10/10 would recommend you to stay here for your next trip to Truckee.

We love being up in Bear Creek nestled up against the Granite Chief Wilderness. Great for skiing but we love it for summer hiking. Private pond is spectacular with mountain stream fed water. Lori's house is fantastic for a large group. Perfect for our family reunion.

Positive: The cabin was well located and very comfortable. We found several trails nearby for running and the lake was very close. We liked the fenced yard for our Labrador pup and the bedrooms were very nice. The kitchen had everything needed for our breakfast and dinner.

Really well equipped condo perfect for our family of 6 adults. Kitchen was exceptionally well equipped with upgraded pots and pans. The beds were very comfortable. The best part of the condo was the location to the lake. A short walk to a lovely beach. We will definitely book again!

Had a wonderful stay in Tahoe at Lori's place. Great location outside the major towns but easily accessible by a 5 minute drive. Walkable to the water and a beach location. Great amenities in the community. The condo was exactly as pictured and comfortable for our large party. My young daughter loved our stay too! Would love to come back.

Splendid experience at Lori’s place. We originally booked a place with lake views, but unfortunately it was infested with mice… So we switched to Lori’s lovely cabin. She offered us an early check in and was so kind and personable. The place is so wonderfully peaceful and the bathrooms have been upgraded and are spotless. What a lovely redemption to what we thought would be a difficult vacation. Keep up the amazing work! This was a vacation for the books!

The charging station for my EV was a huge plus and made our trip so convenient. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and the house comfortably fit all 9 of us. Beautiful home in a lovely part of north Lake Tahoe - very quiet and peaceful. The access to the private dock was really nice - great to go down and jump in the lake or just watch the sunset. The beds were comfortable and the living room and dining area and back porch were nice hang out spots. The water was nice and hot for showers - which was great for a full house. Would definitely come back - thank you!

Very disappointing
Negative: When we arrived at 4:30 the handyman was there fixing the dryer, he told us he would return to complete the fix but never did; therefore, no dryer for the stay. It made it difficult to go the beach and pool and not have anyplace except the outdoor railing to hang wet towels and bathing suits. It was warm in the house and on the wall near the front door was what appeared to be a wall heater that had a fan option.  I thought that I would turn it on to get some air moving in the cabin and open the slider.  Upon turning it on, it sparked and I immediately turned it off.  I emailed them to let them know what had happened and that it was a safety issue.  Did not get any response.
The pictures on the website do not reflect the cabin, especially the lighting.  The front room is very dark and the lighting is no conducive to reading in the evening.
Right back burner on stove does not work.
 No screens on some windows for ventilation. My husband found the kitchen screens on the ground behind the house along with the bottom bedroom screen which was broken. He put the kitchen screen on the window so we could open it for air.  
The screen on the slider needs to be replaced as it is bent and the screen is ripped. 
There were no kitchen towels. There were no washcloths for 6 people (2 children which made bathing them hard). 
The upstairs bathroom will need a window covering when the house behind is completed or they will be able to look into the bathroom. 
Some of the blinds need to be replaced as we were unable to open them .  
Upon departure we were asked to start a load of towels but there was no laundry soap, it was a good thing that I always have laundry sheets in my luggage to I was able to start the load of towels.

We really enjoyed this cabin in beautiful Truckee. The front porch was fully fenced in which was great for our kids. We had fun with all the vintage puzzles and were able to cook all our meals in the fully equipped kitchen.

Cozy cabin
Positive: Lots of room and very kid friendly (bunk beds, games, crayons, etc.). Parking was easy and property was well maintained. Lori was attentive and provided all necessary information up front. Beds, blankets, and towels were super cozy and plentiful. The appliances worked well and lots of dishes provided for use. The heater worked great!
Negative: This home is very dated and many of the images are of a center that is not on the property. The carpet, lounge chairs,  and many appliances and fixtures throughout the home are easily from the 70’s-80’s (fine for a bathroom, I’d hate to imagine the actual cleanliness of the carpet and upholstery). The downstairs bathroom had a plastic sheet shower curtain (no door as in the picture) that did not keep the floor dry. The “HOA amenities” are a 10min drive away and cannot be accessed without paying 20$ per person each time you want to go. So we didn’t.  But the Trout Creek Center looked nice!

The place is very nice and worth the price we paid. Check in was super easy with the key code lock.  The bedding was clean and everything matched the photos. 
Only one issue we had was getting onto the WiFi. Took a couple messages from the hosts and a couple tries but that worked out well.
