You can park your car and never have to use it during your stay if you'd like! This home is located right next to the Northstar Village, it takes about 3 minutes to walk to the main entrance. Walk right up to lift or gondola to go ski or ride! (shuttle roundabouts or main entrance.) Located in the Village Walk, the only gated community within the Northstar Resort.Village. It feels like a quiet, private community but it's shocking that it's only steps from the Northstar Village. And it has a driveway for 8 cars! Less than a 5 minute walk to the Highlands Gondola, the free gondola that goes to the Rtiz Carlton which has several dining options, an elite spa and access to the mountain! You'll also have access to two recreations centers: the Northstar Rec Center (for a daily fee) and the Village Swim & Fitness Center which is free and visible rom the property. You also have access to the Tahoe Mountain Club!

You don't ever need to drive anywhere if you're just going to ski/ride at Northstar which a ton of people do! Walk right to the Northstar Village and lift or gondola in about 5 minutes. Plus, the Highlands Gondola which goes to the RItz Carlton is about a 3 minute walk from the property!
There are free, Northstar Shuttles can pick you up and take you anywhere on the Northstar resort (during operating hours.) Property is less than a 3 minute walk to the free Northstar Shuttle Drop Off where the TART shuttles come and go all day long.
TART is a free and extensive shuttle system that can take you all the way to Donner Lake and Truckee to Crystal Bay, the North Lake area and even down the West Shore to Tahoma!

The house was very nice and a short walk to the shops and restaurants. It would be a great place to stay during ski season, unfortunately the mountain closed the day we arrived. You could walk to a very nice rec center as well. It was nice to have all the streaming services on the TV. The kitchen was very well stocked which is important to us since we love to cook. Lori was very responsive to any questions. Great stay for the family! Perfect place for an extended family’s stay, with plenty of room and privacy when needed. Highly recommended, will stay again! We spent a week at Lori’s home in Northstar. It was fabulous! The space was perfect for our family. There are three bedrooms downstairs, so it felt like our family had our own place. The master is on the third floor where we had our extended family traveling with is stay, which gave them their own privacy. The beds were extremely comfortable! It’s a quick walk over to Northstar Village with several restaurants and shops — and the ski lifts!!! We loved having the perfect place just inside the garage door to store our ski stuff after a day on the slopes. Private hot tub was a huge plus! Thank you, Lori! We will be back. Great location! This home comfortably fit our family of 9. Walking distance to village and ski lifts. Felt very safe and convenient. Would definitely recommend staying here!
