Amenities
Truckee container house is so awesome. I honestly wish I could live here. The house has a great flow and more than enough amenities. The large windows in the living area were perfect to watch the snowfall. Lori is such an amazing host too. She went out of her way to share some local recommendations around the historic Truckee area. Thanks again for all the help, Lorie! This was a 8 day family vacation with my husband and I, our son and his wife along with her parents visiting from Norway. We had more than enough room along with 3 bathrooms so everyone had plenty of privacy. We cooked all of our meals in the large and fully equipped kitchen. There is a BBQ along with a beautiful hot tub for relaxing after a day of downhill skiing at nearby North Star or Palisades.
The way the house is built you literally feel like you are in the trees when you look out over the floor to ceiling windows in the back of the house. Also, there is patio furniture with a fire pit off of the eating area that we also enjoyed.
There are board games, two TV areas along with 3 workstations with large computers. There is also a yoga area in the downstairs area.
This is a beautiful home located in a safe and walkable area. Lori is responsive and easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a place that has everything !!!! Lori, the host, was extremely responsive and flexible with everything. The airbnb and location was perfect. The house is great! Perfectly setup kitchen that makes it easy to cook large meals. Super peaceful location and still very close to Truckee.
